"신혼여행때 한 액티비티 중 가장 고가였지만 남자친구가 하고싶어해서 겁쟁이 용기냈습니다ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 45분정도 투어했는데 군사지역인 한국에서는 하기 어려운 경험이라 특별했고 저는 겁이 많아서 파일럿 옆에서 닫힌 문에서 탔는데 용기있으신 분은 문짝 떼고 고글 쓰고 바람 다 맞고 구경하시더라구요! 긴팔 긴바지 입었고 멀미약 먹고 갔더니 괜찮았는데 저 겁이 많아서 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 남자친구가 찍어온 영상으로 구경했어요 ㅋㅋㅋ (Translated by Google) It was the most expensive activity during our honeymoon But my boyfriend wanted to do it so I mustered up my courage lol We toured for about 45 minutes and it was a special experience because it was hard to do in Korea, which is a military area I was scared so I rode next to the pilot with the door closed But those who were brave enough took off the door, put on goggles, and watched while feeling the wind! I wore long sleeves and long pants and took motion sickness medicine and it was fine, but I was scared ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I watched it through a video my boyfriend took lol"

"It was really amazing. If you want to see gorgeous views and a large chunk of the island this is the way to do it. They were safe and seemed to be really knowledgeable about flying helicopters. Nikki our pilot was fantastic and provided great tips for our stay and also custom tailored the flight to hit areas of interest and picture spots. My wife and I also found it great that a female pilot was doing this in a traditionally male dominated field. Thanks, we loved our experience!"

"What can I say? Amazing, stupendous, beautiful, etc. Best helicopter tour I have ever taken. All 3 of us were mesmerized by the views. Rainbow makes sure you enjoy your ride. Donavan, our pilot, had been a medi-vac pilot for years. He was knowledgeable and extremely interesting. We opted not to take the helicopter ride offered by our cruise ship. Rainbow's pricing was less for 90 minutes than the cruise ship's offer for 1 hour. 15-minute taxi ride from pier."

"We had an amazing experience with Rainbow Helicopter tours. Our pilots Jeff and Donavan were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It is a very family friendly service so if you have kids. I would highly recommend using this. Their office (where you check in) is so clean, welcoming, and kid friendly. Their office staff is also so nice and efficient. We loved our ride. We even spotted whales from up above and loved seeing the beautiful landscape and taking in all of Big Island. 5 stars for Rainbow!!"

"Family did Royal Crown of Oahu tour with Captain Jojo. Coming from an anxious person who was nervous about taking a helicopter flight I felt safe from the beginning to end of the process. Captain Jojo did a great job plotting a smooth course that showed us the sights of the island and providing great commentary. "Great experience all around! They called and asked if they could push us back an hour due to the airport being really busy and we agreed because it wasn’t an inconvenience to us. Our tour was smooth and Patch was really cool and knowledgeable. We did all doors off and it’s definitely an experience worth doing. My 8 year old daughter was so relaxed she wanted to nap while we were up in the air. Once we arrived back we were interested in purchasing our pictures and they notified us that because we agreed to push our departure time out they would be gifting us our pictures. It was a pleasant surprise and really made us feel appreciated. We will definitely book another tour the next time we’re out in Hawaii!"

Not only was he an incredibly skilled pilot, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the flight, but he was also very informative, sharing fascinating insights about the island’s history and landmarks. Note: We chose to fly with the doors off. Highly recommend that. The tour offered breathtaking views of Oahu, from the stunning coastline to the lush mountain ranges. Our pilot Josh did a wonderful job at explaining all the different sights and was great at giving us a heads up whenever there was turbulence (only happened twice and very briefly). I generally get motion sickness when I travel but Josh was very smooth with take off and landing. I highly recommend the experience! You’ll never forget it."

"Great experience coupled with a great staff = great time. From the moment I booked the flight it was a top notch experience. Reception called me minutes after I booked to confirm I received the email with parking instructions and everything was good to go. Arrived and followed the well documented signage to the designated area and we were off. Even on a super windy day everything was super smooth and felt like first class passengers on a first class trip the entire time. Would highly recommend."

"We’re a 65 year old couple looking for a unique experience but unsure the doors off option would be too “adventurous” for us. We’re so glad we did! Pilot Daryl made the trip super smooth and we felt totally safe and comfortable the entire trip. He did an excellent job narrating and explaining the areas of the island we visited. "A big shout out and amazing job well done to the folks at Rainbow Helicopters! My fiancé and I have recently experienced a tour around Oahu with the Romantic Proposal landing. The staff went to great length to go along with the surprise proposal and helped ensure no hints or spoilers occurred. The collaboration and communication between the staff and I was excellent, as well as the amazing tour. My fiancé and I were able to see the various points of interests including the sacred falls, coastal shores and Mountain views. Our pilot and guide Kyle, did an excellent job and so did our photographer Mark. I highly recommend both of them as well as choosing Rainbow Helicopters for your Oahu tours. I experienced everything I expected, including the awesome landing at the private mountain side of Kuoala Ranch. It was such a smooth magnificent journey."

The team identified at the last minute that we could change our plan to see the erupting volcano, which was what my family had originally hoped for but thought might not be possible. "We arrived early, were quickly processed, and put on a flight almost an hour early. We didn't book a private flight but were upgraded to private when we arrived, which was lovely and much appreciated. Julian was our pilot and he was fantastic! Very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable of the island. We did a doors off tour and it was great. It was really cool to see the island from so high up. They warn you it's windy but it was still so much windier than we expected, especially for anyone in the back seats. I had to hold my headset on the whole time to keep it from blowing off because it wouldn't tighten enough to stay put with the strong winds. Overall it was a great experience and we'd recommend everyone take this tour. It's immediately become one of our favorite experiences in Hawaii to date!"

"Had a fab 50th birthday! My husband and I were on our trip with another couple with 6yr old.empty seat in the middle. Plenty of space. I had door off seat and whilst I was initially anxious ,I enjoyed the thrilling ride and Ida was our pilot for our trip. She was an amazing pilot.Very knowledgeable and we both felt really safe in the air.It was a great experience with the doors off and well worth the money as we researched other companies beforehand."

"This was definitely the highlight of my trip! We circled most of the island and then crossed over where the Dole plantation is located. It showed just how lush Oahu is in some places. "My family and I went on a tour with Rainbow and chose the doors off experience. This was by far my favorite part of the trip. The views were absolutely beautiful around the entirety of the island. We had Lucien as our pilot and he was amazing as well! He was very knowledgeable when it came to the history of the island and the sites we seen as well as made us all feel comfortable throughout the duration of the flight. I believe that this tour is a must when visiting the islands and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!"
