- "During our absolutely AMAZING EXPERIENCE with Rainbow Helicopters over Kona Island, we felt like part of their family. The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home, and their attention to detail and care for each one of us was truly exceptional. The views from the helicopter were breathtaking. We didn’t feel rushed at all. We were encouraged to ask questions. Our comfort and safety were the staffs main focus. The sense of camaraderie and hospitality among the team was palpable, adding an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment to the entire adventure. My husband and I were on our trip with another couple with 6yr old.empty seat in the middle. Plenty of space. I had door off seat and whilst I was initially anxious ,I enjoyed the thrilling ride and Ida was our pilot for our trip. She was an amazing pilot.Very knowledgeable and we both felt really safe in the air.It was a great experience with the doors off and well worth the money as we researched other companies beforehand.""Absolutely stellar experience from start to finish. “Thank you all for a better than expected experience for Maddie, Derek and I. We are here on a Make A Wish trip. The helicopter tour was our gift to her since Make A Wish doesn’t allow helicopter rides for insurance reasons. She is a Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor. She was diagnosed late February 2021 and went through 6 cycles of chemotherapy. She completed her treatment in July of 2021. She wants to go to college and become a Marine Biologist so what better way to to see the most spectacular ocean views but in Hawaii. We have only been here in Honolulu a few days and have seen the most majestic views. Josh entertained us with his knowledge of the island and surpassed all expectations with our sunset tour.”

We didn't book a private flight but were upgraded to private when we arrived, which was lovely and much appreciated. Julian was our pilot and he was fantastic! Very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable of the island. We did a doors off tour and it was great. It was really cool to see the island from so high up. They warn you it's windy but it was still so much windier than we expected, especially for anyone in the back seats. I had to hold my headset on the whole time to keep it from blowing off because it wouldn't tighten enough to stay put with the strong winds. Overall it was a great experience and we'd recommend everyone take this tour. It's immediately become one of our favorite experiences in Hawaii to date!""YA GIRL GOT ENGAGED ON ONE OF THESE HELI'S. We went on the 45 min tour with pilot Julian. Originally, we were going to be in the big shared helicopter but it was unavailable at our tour time. The staff ended up giving us a private tour in one of the smaller helicopters and it was awesome. Julian was so friendly and honestly treated us like old friends. He had cool facts to share and was very personable. I 10000% recommend. It was beyond beautiful and such a wild and cool way to see the island. I will say, we went on the 4pm tour which was super nice since the sunset was at 5:45pm. There was still a lot of light but not beating down. My videos came out great. I wore a sweatshirt and shorts with doors off and by the end of the 45 mins was a little chilly. It is December though so maybe during summer it's not as bad.. either way 100% do the doors off!""Awesome tour of Oahu from the sky.
